appearance Light is in the process of turning in to a shinigami and so he still, for the most part, looks human. He has, however, gained shinigami eyes which make his eyes appear to be red. His skin, where it isn't not turning a sick gray, is rather pale, and his hair a darker brown than it was when he inhabited the earth. He stands just under six feet tall and weighs around 120 LBs. Tsuki has, since his arrival, fully transformed in to a shinigami. Now, he is covered in a green scaly-looking skin that is quite rough to the touch. His hair is long enough now that it hangs infront of his eyes, hiding glowing red eyes from sight. His black wings are usually, for the most part, tucked inside of himself, but will be seen while in flight or just after flying. personality Light's personality has changed drastically since he died. Once able to kill a person without batting an eyelash, now Light has gained respect for human life as he does his shinigami work. He feels remorse for the innocent people he killed during his life as Kira and so he wants to figure out a way to use the power of a shinigami to help people as opposed to hinder them. The solitary life of a shinigami has lead Light to become somewhat reserved and quiet. Since becoming a full shinigami, Light's personality has changed a bit. He has developed more of a sense of humor and is a bit more laid back about things, but at the same time he has even less compassion and patience for stupidity... strengths & abilities Light has the ability to see a person's true name and remaining life span when looking at their face. He is also blessed with incredible powers of deduction which often get him out of a sticky situation weaknesses Physically, being a form of a god, Light SHOULD be invincible but he is still in the process of his transformation and while he cannot be killed, he can get injured. He is also highly sensitive about the things he did as Kira and thus, will become emotionally distraught when this is brought up. His memories, as of late, have also been deteriorating the further in to his shinigami transformation he goes. weapons Light, like any shinigami, has a Death Note which is a notebook which can kill a person when their name is written down in it. OU!L Now holds his Death Note. He also has claw-like nails. history As a senior in highschool, Yagami Light's life changed forever one day when he found a simple black notebook on the ground outside of his school. He took the notebook home with him and opened it up reading that "The human whose name is written in this note shall die". Not believing it at first, Light decided to test the theory by writing down the name of a man holding an elementary school hostage. When the man was found inside, dead from hear attack, Light knew this was the real deal. He was later joined by a shinigami, death god, named Ryuk who told him that until the day when he himself would write Light's name in his own death note, he was going to follow him around. And So, Light decided that he would use this death note to kill all criminals in the world; he would create a utopia and reign over it as god. He began his work, and the world realized fairly quickly what was going on; someone was punishing all the criminals in the world. He was given the name 'Kira' - which is a Japanese pronunciation of the English word 'Killer' - by the people of the world who acknowledged that something was happening. Some loved Kira, some feared Kira, and others, like Light's worst enemy, despised Kira. When the investigator L was brought in to the mix, Light knew he would have to be more careful than ever. He was put under surveillance by an FBI agent, had his room and house filled with cameras and bugs, and was even placed in jail for weeks to prove his innocence to the detective. Things were really coming down to the wire, when all of a sudden, things went Light's way. Using one of his closest supporters Amane Misa, her death note, and her shinigami, Light came up with an elaborate plan to kill L, who was Kira's greatest threat at this point. Everything they planned worked out, and Amane Misa's shinigami used her own death note to kill L and L's assistant. Now, with L out of the way, Light moved up in the task force and took over as L. He was successful for six years, unopposed by any other detectives until L's successors came in to the scene. The one code named "N" contacted Light, telling him he thought he was Kira. After weeks of back-and-forth, Light finally agreed to meet with N, and N was certain this meant victory. However, over the weeks, Light had contacted a man named Mikami who was an avid Kira supporter. He sent Mikami a death note, and had him begin to carry out Kira's work. Little did they both know, someone working for N has been following Mikami closely. In the end, when Light met N, Mikami was supposed to see the names of N and his co workers and kill them all. But it turned out, the note he had was a fake; planted by the man that had been following him. This caused it to be fairly obvious that Light was Kira. Ryuk, knowing now that Light would be going to prison, fulfilled his promise and wrote Light's name down in his own death note, thus killing him. The story should have ended there, but it didn't. Light found himself reawakening in a desolate waste land. All around him was gray and rotting - He was in the Death God's realm. Ryuk was with him still, and told him that because he had used the death note as a human, he would now become a shinigami. He was brought before the shinigami king and given the name "Tsuki". A death note was provided for him. From up in the shinigami realm, Light watched his family. Slowly but surely, the realization of just how horrendous a thing he had done set in. He realized that he had strayed so far from the path of righteousness by killing so many innocents along the way. One day, as he watched earth from the shinigami realm and did his work, his gaze focused on a man in a hospital. Messed black hair, those familiar panda-eyes, Light could hardly believe what he was seeing. L was not dead. He questioned Ryuk on it, and Ryuk told him that Rem must not have wrote the correct full name, and so, L was not killed only wiped of any and all memories. Light demanded to go down to the human world so that he might see L, and Ryuk complied. But he would never make it down to the human world as he knew it, for something else grabbed him and pulled him out of his own world. relationships OU!L {Yamaraja} :: Feels he owes L everything and will do whatever L asks of him. Is beggining to develop romantic feelings for him. AU!L {Ayumi} :: L's double. Hasn't really spoken to her much but feels she can be pretty invasive. OU!Yagami Light :: His double. Light first told Tsuki that he never found a Death note before coming here, but learned that his double was lying to him from L. Does not trust him. OU!Amane Misa :: Tsuki is in the process of attempting to manipulate her in to giving up her death note. Does not trust her. OU!Ryuk :: Fellow shinigami. Knows that he acts just like the Ryuk from his own world. AU!Near :: Near causes Tsuki to become rather angry, which resulted in him getting in trouble with L.
